Are you doing the right licence?
First you must have completed both your CBT and Motorcycle Theory test. The A1 licence is your only option if you are aged 17 or 18. Passing the 125 test will give you an A1 licence which means that you will be restricted to 125cc machines developing 14.6bhp or less. If you are aged between 19 and 23 then you can do the A2 licence, this will entitle you to ride up to 35kw (47bhp). If you are 24 or over then you can go for the unrestricted category A licence.
We use the Honda CBF 125, or of course you are welcome to use your own bike as long as it is taxed, insured, has an MOT certificate and you have ‘L’ plates clearly displayed to the front and rear of your motorcycle. Some motorcycles aren’t suitable for your A1 test though, so if in doubt give us a call at 0121 447 7775.
Our courses are designed to build your confidence, awareness, and control, and we use all types of roads from high speed dual-carriage ways, country lanes, to town centre riding, giving you not only enough skills to pass your test, but an insight in to our advanced courses.
We will beat any like for like quote.
